Chip City Cookies is opening its first New Jersey location Monday in Newark. Additional openings are scheduled for February in Ridgewood and Hoboken, and it plans to have 40 units by the end of 2023. The chain has 15 locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island."We are thrilled to open our doors in Newark," Chip City Founder and CEO Peter Phillips, said in a company press release. "This opening is another incredible step forward for the brand and the business mission we have — to make communities smile through the quality of our products and to make our employees feel purpose in their communities.
